Home Loan Modification
The purpose of this report is to provide information to assist you with modifying your loan and reduce your payments.
Thank you for turning to AMFREE for help. We will help you understand your options so that you can make an informed decision on what’s best for your family.
Some loans are easier than others to modify. The easiest ones are covered by the Obama Plan. To see if you qualify visit Http://makinghomeaffordable.gov/eligibility.html. Keep in mind however that your lender will have the final say as to whether your loan modification is approved.
Ask your self this question “Did I get taken advantage of or did my lender violate any laws originating this loan?” If the answer is yes, you may want to speak to an attorney. Then ask “Do I have the money and time to take my case to trial?” If you do not plan on filing a law suit and would still like to proceed with a loan modification, AMFREE can assist you.

The first and most important question your lender wants to know is did you or are you suffering a financial hardship. A financial hardship can mean many things such as a divorce, loss of a job, injury, illness or any other unforeseen temporary set back. This is like a ticket to the dance; without it there is little chance of success.
This being said the most important item needed will be to write a letter explaining your situation and why you need a loan modification. See attached sample letter.
